Wax and Candle Care

IMPORTANT:
Wax Melt and Candle Care
Wax Melt Care:  Make sure when using wax melts you place the warmer on a flat, heat resistant surface.  Never leave the burner unattended.  Please do not burn for more then 3-4 hours at a time.  Make sure to keep the wax melter out of the reach of children and pets and anything flammable.  To remove the wax from the melter, use a cotton ball or piece of paper towel to absorb the wax.  Do not pour any wax down the drain. Dispose of wax in a garbage can.  Generally every wax melt piece gets about 8-12 hours.  Wax does not evaporate like it does in a candle so please make sure you remove old wax before putting in a new melt.  Another helpful tip is to change out the fragrance regularly.  If you steadily use one fragrance, you get used to that fragrance and it may be difficult for you to smell that fragrance unless you rotate it with other fragrances to avoid becoming "nose blind"
Candle Care-  Before lighting your candle for the first time, please trim your wick to 1/4 of an inch. Your candle needs to have a full melt pool before extinguishing it to avoid tunneling.  Each time you relight make sure you trim the wick to 1/4 of an inch. Never leave candle unattended or within reach of children and pets.  Please do not move candle while it is lit and make sure it is on a flat heat resistant surface. Avoid burning the candle for more then 3-4 hours at a time.
