About Us

Thank you for visiting my store. Please allow me to introduce myself! My name is Alex, I live in northern NJ local to the Wayne area. Prior to 2020 I had a career for 15+ years in retail banking. I loved being in banking but have always had a side of me that loved doing crafts and being very DIY, I did my entire wedding myself down to every detail. After I had my daughter in 2020 my bank ended up closing our location and I got laid off. I was very very fortunate to have the time off to raise my daughter, and my husband who supports our family and makes it possible for me to be a stay at home mom and dog mom💗 After years of trying to find something that keeps me busy while my daughter is napping or just to give me some down time when she goes to bed for the night and some sanity as a stay at home mom, I finally found my passion in making candles and wax melts. When I started I thought it was simple, I colored my wax with crayons and fragrance oils, I had no idea the science behind it.  I did my research and I spent hours/days/weeks and even months studying the science and the techniques of being a chandler. I learned techniques I never knew would be possible, who knew you could whip and pipe wax. I was fascinated from the science behind it, different types of wax, the measuring, ratios, temperatures, colorants, fragrances,  different types of wicks,  there is so much behind just pouring wax in a jar or mold. So here I am today, I have tons of inventory that I have put so much love into making, every candle, every wax melt, you can see the passion and love I put into it. My website is always a work in progress and I want to make sure it’s what I envision it to be and a reflection of myself.  Outside of my family this business has been my passion.

Did you know when you purchase candles  from big box stores they are produced in mass quantities? They use inexpensive wax like paraffin and low quality fragrance oils. So when you smell them they may seem strong and their prices are very low but think about all the toxins that go into those candle ingredients. When you shop a small business you know their produced in small quantities, they are hand poured, tested over and over until perfected, and use quality ingredients. I only use top quality organic soy wax made in the USA and top quality fragrance oils from well known fragrance suppliers. I don’t cut costs and I make sure that everything I sell is what I would use in my own home. I make sure I provide the education to my consumers about safe candle and wax melt usage and proper care. You can tell the love that goes into each and every product I make and sell and package. That’s the difference between small batches and mass quantity.

I love telling my story and meeting new people. I want to get my name out there. Sweet Bliss Wax Melt Co. is a small business but one day I wish for it to be a household name without compromising my quality which I take pride on. I appreciate every single purchase big or small. I package every product and package like you are receiving a present and pay close attention to all my details. With every order I provide free samples as well as random gifts to show appreciation.  I strive for customer satisfaction and hope that you love each and every item you order.  If there are any order or product issues please reach out to me and I will reply promptly with a solution. With all of this said having a small business is always a risk, have I spent tons of money on wax, molds, fragrance oils and equipment for being a chandler.  I know one day I will get where I want to be my dream is to have a storefront where I can teach classes and a make your own candle bar. So I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my website, and those who follow me, who like my pictures, who share photos and refer me, thank you! am so humbled and grateful for word of mouth and repeat customers and events like farmers market and craft shows are something I look forward to, Just know it means the world to my family and I. I am a growing business, but I look forward to see what the future holds for me.

When you shop small you are supporting someones dream, your not helping pay for a CEO's 3rd vacation home, you are helping pay for a little girls dance classes, a vacation to build family memories  and helping a husband pay for groceries.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
